Kristin Fisher has joined CNN in July 2021, as the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her position as the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she is responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the rise and development of tourism to space. Being the child of 2 NASA astronauts, Kristin grew up in the industry of space. She worked for the past five years covering the Trump and Biden Space Policy of the Administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. While covering the two presidential impeachment cases and the presidential campaign for 2020, and the two administrations' attempts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. The reporter also was on numerous trips with President and Vice President and was a part of a classified visit to Afghanistan together with the former president Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter prior to becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015. Kristin, who is an experienced filmmaker, established Field Mouse Films, a business that specialises in documentaries, for companies such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Boston University. Her current residence is Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
